Paul believes that every Philadelphian has a right to feel safe where he or she lives, works, and raises their family. In too many neighborhoods throughout Philadelphia, residents feel unsafe, disconnected from their community, and concerned about adequate police and first responder resources. In order to empower residents of these neighborhoods, Paul will emphasize the need for increased community-oriented policing and create more productive relationships between our police force and civic organizations, including opportunities for police to receive input from residents. Additionally, expanding data-driven programs will allow law enforcement to focus resources in trouble areas for more efficient use of limited resources.
